G'day Year 3 and Parents,

Can you please check your homes and bags for 3 items that are missing at this time:

  1. One black shoe - Josiah Lowe is missing one.
  2. Boys Blazer - should have "Arkapaw" labelled in it.
  3. Boys Blazer - should have "George" labelled in it
If you have any of these items please send them back to school and hand them to Mr Hosking.

Year 3 Homework – Term 2, Week 3
Dear Year 3 Students and Parents,
As you are participating in Naplan this week, you won’t be completing the usual homework. You will still practise your spelling words each day, however we will do this at school, rather than at home.
Instead of regular homework this week, these are the things you need to complete:
-       Nightly reading: keep reading each night and draw an illustration below
Find a poem to share with the class. You must bring it in by Friday. Some types of poems you could look for may include: acrostic, haiku, limerick, cinquain, rhyming, shape poems or other kinds of poems.

Regular homework will be back next week :)

Welcome back for Term 2!

We hope everyone had a wonderful break with opportunities for fun, family time and some rest! Year 3 are going to have another great term with lots of great learning experiences and fun things planned.
Homework has started back this week. Please continue to remember to record your child's reading. Information regarding the Premier's Reading Challenge can be found on the Parent Portal. Both Year 3 classes will have a library lesson next week to demonstrate how they can enter the books they have been reading.

We are looking forward to a great term ahead!

Mr B and Mrs Schipp
